  • Presented a flag flown over US Capital from US Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison by Sgt Eric Maddox, masterminded capture of Saddam Hussein
  • Led USO Kids to special homecoming in El Campo for the soldiers from the 72nd Brigade Special Troops Battalion,  the first US military group to transfer power from the US Coalition to the Gov’t of Iraq
  • Girl Scout Troop placed 300 yellow ribbons for “Welcome Home a Soldier”
  • Started USO Kids Softball Team, honoring a fallen soldier at each tournament
  • Raised funds to purchase & deliver complete Christmas dinner baskets for 50 troops at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base, Houston, TX
  • USO Kids were given 5,000 tickets from Houston Texans owner Bob McNair and we hosted a “meet & greet” at the New Year’s Eve Texas Bowl Game, served food to over 5,000 troops & their families at the Salute our Troops Tailgate
  • Organized USO Kids to collect 5,000 Christmas Cards to send to our troops deployed overseas
  • Organized 250 USO Kids & 50 Wounded Warriors to attend three special Houston Texans football practices and “meet & greet” Houston Texans Players
  • Organized USO Kids to first ever USO Telethon, we answered phones, spent time with Wounded Warriors and raised over $100,000 that day
  • 2009-2011 Escorted & fed 30 Wounded Warriors to each home Houston Texans Football game
  • Escorted Lt. Col Tim Karcher (double amputee) and his family to the Houston Rodeo for a day
  • Organized a “We Support You” banner signing for 300 kids to tell the troops how much we love and appreciate them, shipped to Iraq & Afghanistan
  • Participated for 2-days Operation Lock N Load, escorting special guest, 3-Star General Jimmy Wells, Joanne King Herring and Jonathan Sandys, Great Grandson of Winston Churchill
  • Helped Houston Texans Chris Meyers for a special homecoming for double amputee returning from Iraq
  • Organized Kids4RTroops to participate in the first annual Watermelon Walk/Run for the Fallen, we ran a 5K then stood in complete silence for over 2-hours while all 514 names of the Texan Fallen were read
  • Worked with Texas Sentinels raising money for an apartment for 1-year for a soldier, who lost a leg in Iraq
